Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds sweet potatoes, peeled, chopped
  • 3/4 cup whole milk, divided
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Kosher salt, as desired
  • Freshly ground black pepper, as desired
  • 1 can (10.5-ounce) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 4 cups green beans
  • 1 tube (16.3-ounce) large biscuits (4 biscuits)
  • ½ cup mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup crispy fried onions

Utensils needed

  • Medium Bowl
  • Microwave-Safe Bowl

Instructions

Step 1
Install SearPlate in the bottom level of the unit, then close door. Select SEAR CRISP, set temperature to 350°F, and set time to 15 minutes. Press the setting dial to begin preheating.

Step 2
Place sweet potatoes in a medium microwave-safe bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 12 minutes, or until soft. Add ¼ cup milk, butter, light brown sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and pepper and mash with a fork until evenly combined and smooth.

Step 3
In separate medium bowl, add remaining ½ cup of milk, cream of mushroom soup, soy sauce, green beans, salt, and pepper and mix until evenly combined.

Step 4
When unit has preheated, open door, carefully remove the SearPlate with oven mitts and place on top of oven. Place the biscuits down the center of the SearPlate. Spread the sweet potatoes on the right side of the SearPlate and top with marshmallows. Place the green bean mixture on the left side of the SearPlate and top with fried onions.

Step 5
Reinstall the SearPlate in the bottom level of the unit and close the door to begin cooking.

Step 6
When cooking is complete, the biscuits will be golden brown. Remove the SearPlate from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
