How to make ice-cream:
Simply fill a Pint Container with ingredients and pop in the freezer for 24 hours. When you’re ready to serve, place the tub into your Ninja CREAMi and the rotating Creamerizer paddle transforms your frozen base into a creamy treat in minutes! Creamify Technology delivers perfect consistency, every time.
Can you refreeze ice cream?
Yes, simply level off the top of your ice cream and place your tub back in the freezer to enjoy later. When you’re ready to eat the rest, you can pop it back in your Ninja CREAMi and press Re-Spin for super-smooth results.
Is gelato ice cream?
Gelato is a delicious Italian-style ice cream made from a custard-style base. Ninja CREAMi has dedicated Gelato and Ice Cream programs, so you can select the perfect setting to suit your ingredients. Scan the QR code on the top of your unit or explore hundreds of recipes.
What is soft serve ice cream?
Soft serve is a frozen dessert made from a similar base to ice cream (milk, cream, sugar) but served at a warmer temperature and with more air whipped into it during freezing. This gives it a lighter, fluffier texture that flows smoothly from a machine rather than needing to be scooped.
The Ninja CREAMi Scoop & Swirl makes soft serve by taking frozen bases—like frozen fruit juice, yogurt, or sorbet—and processing them with unique soft serve programs to achieve that signature soft, creamy texture.
What is the difference between soft serve and ice cream?
The Ninja CREAMi Scoop & Swirl™ includes separate programs for both modes. Use the scooped ice cream programs (6 one-touch options + mix in) when you want rich, creamy desserts you can enjoy straight from a bowl. Switch to soft-serve mode (6 one-touch programs) for lighter, fluffier frozen treats that can be dispensed using the Swirl press. Many customers alternate between both depending on their mood, dietary preference, or recipe.
Can the Ninja CREAMi make gelato?
Yes. Gelato is another frozen dessert the Ninja CREAMi Scoop & Swirl™ can create. Gelato is denser and creamier than soft serve (similar fat content to ice cream) but served at a slightly warmer temperature than hard ice cream, giving it a scoopable, dense texture. The machine includes a dedicated gelato program designed to process these bases for your ideal serving texture. It's ideal if you want authentic Italian-style frozen desserts at home.
