Ingredients

  • ½ cup strawberries, chopped
  • ½ cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk, or milk substitute
  • ¾ cup heavy cream, or milk substitute
  • 1 ½ ounces vodka
  • 1 ½ ounces cream liqueur
  • Shortbread cookies
  • Whipped cream
  • Blueberries

Utensils needed

  • Medium Bowl

Instructions

Step 1
In a medium bowl, add in your chopped strawberries and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Mash until sugar is mixed with the strawberries. Add in another ¼ cup of sugar, vanilla extract, milk and heavy cream into the bowl. Mix together until combined.

Step 2
Pour your mixture into an empty CREAMi Pint. Place storage lid on the pint and freeze for 24 hours.

Step 3
Remove pint from freezer and remove lid from pint. Pour the vodka and cream liqueur into the pint. Place pint in outer bowl, install Creamerizer Paddle onto outer bowl lid, and lock the lid assembly on the outer bowl. Place bowl assembly on motor base and twist the handle right to raise the platform and lock in place.

Step 4
Select ICE CREAM.

Step 5
With a spoon, create a 1 ½-inch wide hold that reaches the bottom of the pint. Crumble the shortbread cookies and add to the hole and process again using the MIX-IN program.

Step 6
Re-spin, if needed. When processing is complete, remove ice cream from pint. Serve with whipped cream, strawberries, blueberries and more shortbread cookies. Enjoy!
