Banana Pudding Protein Ice Cream

A lighter take on the classic banana pudding, this banana pudding protein ice cream is just as delicious! Even better, it's made easy with only a handful of ingredients.

NOTE:

If your freezer is set to a very cold temperature, the ice cream may look crumbly. If this occurs, select RE-SPIN to process the mixture a little more. You can also add 1-2 tablespoons of milk to the ice cream before re-spinning for a creamier texture.

Ingredients

  • 14 ounce premade vanilla protein shake
  • 2 tablespoons sugar free instant pudding mix
  • 3-4 vanilla wafer cookies, broken into pieces
  • ½ frozen banana, sliced

Toppings (optional)

  • Whipped cream

Utensils needed

  • Spoon
  • Whisk

Instructions

Step 1
Pour the vanilla protein shake and pudding mix into an empty CREAMi Pint. Whisk to combine. Place storage lid on pint and freeze for 24 hours.

Step 2
Remove pint from freezer and remove lid from pint. Place pint in outer bowl, install Creamerizer Paddle onto outer bowl lid, and lock the lid assembly on the outer bowl. Place bowl assembly on motor base and twist the handle right to raise the platform and lock in place.

Step 3
Select LITE ICE CREAM. Re-spin as necessary.

Step 4
With a spoon, create a 1 ½-inch-wide hole that reaches the bottom of the pint. Add the cookies and banana pieces to the hole in the pint and process again using the MIX-IN program.

Step 5
When processing is complete, remove ice cream from pint. Top with whipped cream and serve immediately.
