A cold press juicer is an appliance that extracts juice from fruits and vegetables using a manual press which crushes and presses ingredients. This action is similar to chewing, which is why it’s often referred to as a masticating juicer.

Cold press juicing is a simple way to get essential vitamins and nutrients from your favourite fruits and vegetables. Here's how to get the best results:

1. Wash all produce before juicing
2. Make sure the anti-drip lever is open before juicing 
3. Remove skins and rinds from citrus fruits, melons, pineapples, mangoes, beets, and root vegetables. Peel or skin can stay on apples, pears, peaches, cucumbers, and carrots. 
4. Remove large pits, seeds, and apple stems, but there's no need to remove the apple core
5. Always turn on the juicer before adding ingredients to the feed chute
6. Press START/STOP, then remove the tamper
7. Add ingredients gradually, making sure all of them have been processed/moved through the feed chute chamber before adding more
8. Use the tamper to push ingredients down into feed chute as needed
9. Close the anti-drip lever so juice won’t drip onto the motor base
9. Remove juice jug from unit, stir juice, and serve.

A few things to avoid: do not process ingredients that contain no juice (such as bananas or avocados), frozen fruits and vegetables, or ice.
