Fusioncrisp Whole Roasted Chicken

(4–5 lbs) whole chicken, patted dry

2 tablespoons canola oil

Kosher salt, as needed

Ground black pepper, as needed
- Install the Crisper Plate into the CleanCrisp™ Glassware and place whole chicken in the center, coat with oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the CleanCrisp™ Glassware in the unit in the BOTTOM POSITION. Press the FUSIONCRISP button. Then turn the dial to set microwave time to 30:00 minutes.
- Press the AIR FRY button, turn the dial to 45:00 minutes. Press dial to start cooking.
- When 5:00 minutes remain in air frying, check chicken for doneness. Cooking is complete when chicken’s internal temperature reaches at least 165°F on an instant-read thermometer inserted in the thickest part of the chicken breast. When cooking is complete, use oven mitts to remove CleanCrisp™ Glassware from unit and allow chicken to rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
