Classic Apple Crisp
INGREDIENTS
Crumble Topping

1 cup light brown sugar, packed

3/4 cup old fashioned oats

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 /2 cup + 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, chilled, cut in cubes

FILLING 12 cups Granny Smith apples (approx. 6 large apples), peeled, cored, sliced 1/4-inch thick

1 /4 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

2 teaspoons lemon juice
-
2 tablespoons light brown sugar, packed

3 tablespoons water

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
SERVING: Vanilla ice cream
1. Prepare the crumble topping by adding the brown sugar, oats, flour, and cinnamon to a large bowl. Stir to combine. Add the butter, then use a fork or your hands to mix until a crumbly texture forms and no dry ingredients remain. Set aside.
2. Add all filling ingredients to the CleanCrisp™ Glassware. Toss or stir with a rubber spatula until evenly coated. Place the CleanCrisp™ Glassware in the TOP POSITION.
3. Press the FUSIONCRISP button. Turn the dial to set the microwave time to 16:00. Press the AIR FRY button, then turn the dial to 8:00. Press the dial to start cooking.
4. When 8:00 minutes remain in the microwave cooking cycle, use oven mitts to remove the CleanCrisp™ Glassware from the unit. Stir the filling, then evenly sprinkle the prepared crumble topping over the top. Return the CleanCrisp™ Glassware to the unit to continue cooking.
5. When cooking is complete, use oven mitts to remove the CleanCrisp™ Glassware from the unit. Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving with vanilla ice cream.
