How to straighten curly hair:
For curly or coily hair, use Wet Mode with the Wide-Tooth Comb to stretch and rough-dry.
How to straighten fine hair:
Use lower temperature settings and smaller sections. Avoid overworking the hair and remember that fine hair typically requires less tension and fewer passes.
Does straightening your hair damage it?
The Shark SilkiPro™ Hair Straightener uses low temperature plates (248°F in Wet Mode) and precision air flow to dry and straighten hair wet to dry with no thermal heat damage.
