Ninja SLUSHi FAQs
How to make a slushie:
Traditional slushies require blending ice with juice or syrup. The Ninja SLUSHi takes a completely different approach: no ice needed at all. Simply pour your liquid of choice directly into the vessel (juice, lemonade, sports drinks, soda, or virtually any beverage with sugar or our recommended sugar substitutes), select one of the preset programs, and the machine does the rest, freezing and transforming your liquid into a smooth, perfectly textured slush. The Ninja SLUSHi XL (128 oz) delivers 10+ servings per batch, while the flagship SLUSHi Max (150 oz) deliveres 12+ servings per batch. Both the SLUSHi XL & SLUSHi Max have new, ingredient-sensing SlushAssist Technology to auto-adjust temperature settings for perfect slush every time, no matter the recipe. For smaller gatherings, the SLUSHi™ (88 oz) offers 7+ servings and 5 manual, preset drink programs. All models feature a no-drip, no-mess pour spout and an ergonomic comfort handle for easy serving.
How to clean Ninja SLUSHi:
Step 1: Use the Rinse Feature. Press the Rinse button on the machine, then fill to the max line with warm water, and let it run through the cycle. This is a quick first rinse before deeper cleaning.
Step 2: Disassemble the Removable Parts, which includes the vessel, auger, condensation tray, drip tray, and the spout.
Step 3: Wash the Removable Parts. Removable parts are dishwasher safe, please refer to your instructions manual.
Step 4: Clean the Motor Base. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth to clean any spills. Never submerge it in water or place it in the dishwasher, just gently wipe down the surface to avoid damaging internal parts.
Step 5: Dry Thoroughly Before Storing
Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing. Leave the machine open to air-dry after cleaning, especially the slushie container, to prevent mold or mildew from forming.
