Grilled Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Glaze

This is a great side dish to add to your grilling spread! It's so easy to throw on the grill and enjoy as a light and healthy dessert.

TIP:

Just about any fruit can go on the grill if they are
fairly firm and not overripe. Give it a try using whatever fruit you have on hand! We suggest using watermelon, Mango, and bananas in this recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb strawberries, washed, hulled and halved
  • 1 (9 oz) canned pineapple chunks, drained, Juice reserved
  • 2 peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 6 tablespoons honey, divided
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice

Utensils needed

  • Large Bowl
  • Small Bowl

Instructions

Step 1
Insert the grill grate and close the hood. Select grill, set the temperature to Max, and set a time to four minutes. Select start/stop to begin preheating. 

Step 2
While the unit is preheating, combine the strawberries, pineapple, and peaches in a large bowl with 3 tablespoons of honey. Toss to evenly coat  

Step 3
When the unit beeps to signify it has preheated, place the fruit on the grill grate. Gently press the fruit down to maximize the grill marks. Close the hood and grill for 4 minutes without flipping. 

Step 4
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the remaining 3 tablespoons of honey, lime juice, and 1 tablespoon of reserved pineapple juice.

Step 5
When cooking is complete, place the fruit in a large bowl and toss with the honey mixture. Serve immediately.
