Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water, for steaming
  • 2 lbs individually frozen chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • Ground black pepper, as desired
  • Kosher salt, as desired
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted

Utensils needed

  • Large Bowl

Instructions

Step 1
Add 1/2 cup water to the pot.

Step 2
In a medium bowl, toss the chicken wings and canola oil until evenly coated.

Step 3
Place the wings in the Cook & Crisp Basket and place the basket in the pot.

Step 4
Close the lid and move slider to STEAMCRISP.

Step 5
Select STEAM & CRISP, set temperature to 450°F, and set time to 20 minutes. Press START/STOP to begin cooking (PrE will display for approx. 10 minutes as the unit steams, then the timer will start counting down).

Step 6
Place the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix to combine.

Step 7
When cooking is complete, carefully remove the basket from the pot. Transfer wings to the Parmesan mixture and toss to combine. Serve immediately. Tip: If you prefer crispier chicken wings, add an additional 5 minutes by pressing the up arrow when in STEAM & CRISP mode.
