What is blue light therapy?

Blue light therapy is a non-invasive, chemical-free treatment that targets acne-causing bacteria beneath the skin's surface to reduce breakouts and clear complexion. Unlike topical treatments, it works at the source without harsh ingredients.

In the Shark CryoGlow™, the Skin Clearing Treatment is an 8-minute Blue, Infrared, and Red LED session to reduce acne and redness for a more even and clear complexion.

Can I open my eyes when using the facial mask?

Yes, the intensity of the LEDs is safe for eyes (tested to recognised safety standards and are compliant with such requirements). This mask also includes the auto-dim and eye shielding features for user comfort.

It's fine to have your eyes open or closed while using the facial mask, whatever feels more comfortable - it won't affect the performance of the mask.

Do not stare at the light source.

Does the facial LED mask have a timer?

Yes! Each LED mode runs for a different amount of time, either 4, 6 or 8 minutes.

The remote will display a countdown timer, and the LEDs and/or Under-Eye Cooling will automatically shut off at the end of your session.

If cooling was in use, fans will continue to run for 60 seconds after the end of the session.
