Instructions
Step 1
Pour 2 cups water into the pot.
Step 2
Spray the bottom of the Ninja Multi-Purpose Pan (or 8-inch round baking pan) with nonstick cooking spray. Place an 8-inch circle of parchment paper in the bottom of the pan and spray the top of the parchment and sides of pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 3
To make the brownies, place the brownie mix, coconut oil, water, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt in a large bowl. Prepare according to the directions on the brownie box. Stir in the pecans, chocolate chips, and coconut flakes. Pour batter into prepared pan. Top with extra pecan pieces, coconut flakes, and chocolate chips if desired.
Step 4
Place the pan on the bottom layer of the Deluxe Reversible Rack in the lower position, then place the rack in the pot.
Step 5
Close the lid and move slider to STEAMCRISP. Select STEAM & BAKE, set temperature to 290°F, and set time to 25 minutes. Press START/STOP to begin cooking (PrE will display for approx. 18 minutes as the unit steams, then the timer will start counting down).
Step 6
After 20 minutes, check doneness by inserting a wooden toothpick into the middle of the brownies. If it comes out clean, remove rack with pan, and let cool for at least 20 minutes. If the toothpick comes out with moist crumbs stuck to it, continue to bake until toothpick comes out clean.
Step 7
When the brownies have cooled, slice into small squares and serve.
